Catalyst deliver a wide range of services to government agencies, including comprehensive rollout projects for the Ministry of Social Development and Oranga Tamariki.

We have also worked directly with landlords to design and construct new "greenfields" buildings, including recent projects in Napier and Te Awamutu for the Ministry of Social Development. In addition, we have been engaged by Land Information New Zealand and the Ministry of Health to develop their long-term property strategies. All of our services are carried out using primarily in-house resources, ensuring a high level of expertise and quality.

This project, a collaboration between Catalyst and two other firms was awarded 'Best Government Project' by the 'Project Management Institute' in 2019. It was also a finalist for the NZIOB 'Collaboration Award' in the same year.

The Ministry of Social Development building is a modern office space located in the heart of Napier, with an eye-catching location visible from the town centre. It will be occupied by Oranga Tamariki and Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities, and will span three levels, with dedicated car parking available on the ground floor and basement.
