A sophisticated transformation of a corporate box at New Zealand’s national stadium. Catalyst was engaged by an existing client to transform its corporate box at Eden Park, creating a sophisticated environment that strengthened its brand presence and elevated the experience for clients, partners and guests.

Working within an existing stadium footprint and compressed programme, the design needed to support corporate entertaining, business networking and event-day hospitality, while making every square metre work harder. 

Inspired by an upscale speakeasy lounge, Catalyst moved away from the traditional corporate box aesthetic. Herringbone flooring, custom upholstered banquette seating, velvet curtains and decorative wall panelling introduced warmth and character, complemented by reeded glass, bronze mirror, bespoke artwork, feature lighting and illuminated brand signage. 

Functionality was equally important, with integrated storage, upgraded AV and technology capabilities, and flexible spaces designed to support a range of occasions. 

Delivering within an operational sporting venue added complexity, requiring close coordination across design, procurement and specialist trades, with the programme carefully managed around Eden Park’s event schedule. 

The result is a refined and adaptable corporate box that reflects the client’s premium positioning while creating a memorable experience for guests.
