To foster focused and thoughtful work, Catalyst created a unique layout by clustering small workstations in the centre of the floor beneath an open ceiling and encircling them with trees. The fitout also featured deconstructed elements that mirrored the client's "White Hat Hacker" identity, meaning they break things down, with blocked painted walls and ceilings, richly coloured flooring, and contrasting light grey "gallery" walls and "auto garage" aesthetic in client areas. The goal was to inject elements of whimsy and fun into the design, creating a unique and engaging office space.

Catalyst worked with ZX Security, a rapidly growing security services provider, to design a new office space that reflected their expanding prominence in the market. ZX Security required a larger space to accommodate their growing team and promote themselves as a secure provider of security services. They also wanted their unique culture, which values authenticity, self-motivation, and fun, to be showcased in the design.
Catalyst designed a space that allowed for individual and collaborative work, using bold colours from the ZX brand identity to promote individuality. Meeting spaces for clients and staff and an attractive staff café were provided, along with a gaming room for staff to relax and socialise. The client's heavy metal garage rock engineering aesthetic was celebrated through incorporating elements that catered to the principals' distinct personalities.
