Sophisticated space, for our reputable wealth specialists.
After the exceptional project delivery of their space in the Deloittes building Wellington, it was only natural for Hobson Wealth to turn to Catalyst when it was time to start making decisions on their Auckland location. Tasked with creating the ‘best office in Auckland’ a homely feel with clear communication throughout the project and to come in on budget. Engaged to help make key decisions like which building to relocate to, Catalyst did high level concept designs for all three options on the table – with Australis Nathen in the sort after area of Britomart the clear favorite. Catalyst teamed up with Julian Guthrie, a very well respected and top residential architect in New Zealand. Julian was a close friend and had designed a beautiful spacious family home for Warren of Hobson Wealth, some years before and wanted to bring in that homely feel with a similar vision. Catalyst was responsible for both Project Management and the Build. During the process we made sure the team were on track to reach milestones and sticking to budget, value engineering certain aspects of the design along the way. The resulting fit-out establishes a high level of confidence with the Hobson Wealth clientele and has attracted the respect of the financial and architectural industry alike. Prominent red brick walls and timber flooring throughout with black aluminum suites portray a reserved-masculinity with cream curtaining to soften the space. Upstairs is finished with beautiful timber and tin finishes. The contrasting marriage of these two perspectives, speaks to both traditional and new target markets of our client - whilst also providing an elegant space that is truly unique to our client. On the balcony you are blessed with uninterrupted views of Britomart and out over to Rangitoto. As you walk around the space you will notice the love of fine and quite somewhat unusual art pieces. Could this quite possibly be ‘Auckland's best office space’.
Both the Hobson team and our clients, are very pleased with the grand elegance our space inspires.” WARREN COUILLAULT - MANAGING DIRECTOR
