Meet Reganne Henry: Project Coordinator

Meet Reganne Henry: Project Coordinator

Meet Reganne Henry, one of Catalyst's energetic and determined Project Coordinators.

We caught up with Reganne for a quick Q&A to learn more about her working style.

Q: How would you describe your work approach?

A:
I take a proactive, detail-oriented approach to my role. I like to stay organised, think a few steps ahead, and be across the detail so that the team and client can feel confident in me during a project. I also value clear communication both internally and externally as a key part of keeping things running smoothly.

Q: What are some ways you approach a problem/challenge?

A:
I like to step back and look at the bigger picture first - what’s the actual issue, and who does it affect, what impacts does it have on the project? From there, I break it down, focus on what’s in my control, and bring in the right people to get it sorted.

Q: What aspect/phase of your work is the most exciting for you?

A:
I really enjoy the construction phase of a project, working through live challenges and problem-solving with the project team. It’s a collaborative environment where architects, clients, contractors, and engineers are all working towards the same goal: successful project delivery. That sense of teamwork and momentum makes it a really engaging part of the process for me.

Q: What experiences have shaped or influenced your perspective on your working style?

A:
Starting out with little industry knowledge really shaped my working style. I had to learn quickly and be resourceful, which taught me the importance of asking good questions, staying curious, and backing myself. Working alongside strong mentors also helped me build confidence and refine how I work with different people and teams.

Q: What fills your cup outside of work?

A: Spending time with people who make me laugh, being by the ocean, and anything music-related – those are the things that help me recharge. I also love to travel! One of my recent highlights would be my trip to Thailand. I’m also happiest when I’m with my family and my dogs – they keep me grounded and bring a lot of joy to my everyday life.

Q: What advice would you give to someone starting out as a Project Coordinator?

A:
Don’t be afraid to ask questions – even the ones you think sound stupid. It’s the best way to learn and avoid mistakes. Be patient with yourself as you build confidence and find your feet – it takes time. Get comfortable being the one holding things together behind the scenes, and take pride in that role. Be open to any task that comes your way – it’s how you build experience and grow.
