Tender Writer

Part of our business involves the preparation of tenders (and other similar documents) in a range of circumstances that match our expertise. In order to be the best in our field, we are looking for a talented tender writer that will take our good responses and make them excellent.

It goes without saying that this role is fast moving and requires not only outstanding writing skills, but the great communication required to coordinate the team involved in numerous processes with concrete deadlines.

The newly established tender writer role will initially report directly to the CEO.

The Position

  • You will be responsible for the preparation and submission of responses to Requests for Tenders, Requests for Proposal, Expressions of Interest and so forth. 
  • This will involve collaborating with personnel across the Organisation’s three offices located in Auckland (where you will be based), Wellington and Christchurch.
  • You will need to set and drive the delivery programme and coordinate the team involved.
  • You will also administer and take ownership of our library of tender documents.

The Must-Haves

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior time management skills.
  • Experience in the Microsoft Suite of Software.
  • Attention to detail, and accurate proof-reading skills.
  • A positive attitude and great people skills.
  • A great eye for design and detail when it comes to finished documents.
  • Skilled in InDesign, Power Point or similar.
  • Experience in Tender documentation formation.
  • A drive for quality. 

The Desirable

  • Experience in a similar position; within a similar industry.
  • An interest in architecture and/or interior design.
  • Experience in GETS tenders.
