Commercial Manager - Wellington

Catalyst is a specialist commercial architecture, design and project management company with a highly-respected reputation - delivering design solutions for a number of commercial, government, retail, hospitality and office projects.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated, experienced Commercial Manager to join our Wellington team.

Responsibilities in this role will include generating sales from existing and new opportunities, account manage selected accounts, manage a suite of Sales and Marketing tools (including CRM, brochures, website etc), undertake and/or assist with the preparation of tenders and fee proposals, prepare sales reports, prepare and present 'indicative costs' to the client (longside other team members) and complete appropriate 'Contract Agreements' and gain client sign-off.

The successful applicant will require the following;

  • Be self motivated, proactive, use initiative, a self starter, work individually and as part of a team 
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or related study (ideal)
  • Sound understanding of commercial management disciplines
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills
  • Ability to present at a high level across all levels within a business
  • Great time management skills and driven to meet strict deadlines – results oriented
  • Must have good allround computer skills including MS Office & MS Outlook
